How it works
Copper (or similar conductor) rides with the moving mass through the magnet field.
Motion induces currents; currents make a field that opposes the motion. Energy leaves as heat in the copper, not as a second hit at the shoulder.
Used as a module on Hybrid and FRT variants.
F_drag ∝ v · B² · conductivity · geometry. Faster residual motion dumps more energy. At rest, drag is zero — no static preload from the copper.

Hybrid assembly
One axis. Magnets float apart because like poles shove. Spring and copper slugs run the same direction — barrels, not coins on their side.
Floating apart
Like poles shove the discs open. Gaps are the spring.

Versus mil-spec spring
- Kills bounce without hydraulics
- No fluid to leak
- Velocity-sensitive only when you need it
